The Carnabyās are here, theyāve been hanging around for about a week but today they were the morning chorus. About 300 decided to drop in and career around the Tuart trees, they snip off leaves, chomp the hakea nuts, devour the banksia cones and today even checked the rain gauge! They are a naughty loud raucous and funny bird and we love having them visit, it means rains are coming āsometimeā and autumn is here. Join us for the annual cocky count at sunset April 3rd, more details to come.
